Payton Juarez, LSW, CDBT

Payton Juarez is a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Illinois who works with adolescents and adults navigating substance use disorders, addiction recovery, depression, anxiety, stress-related concerns, and much more. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Recreation, Sport, and Tourism from the University of Illinois at Urbana–Champaign and his Master of Social Work from Aurora University.

 

Payton has particular interest in working with adolescents, men’s issues, and individuals facing performance pressure, identity concerns, or challenges related to athletics and high-achievement environments.

Payton takes a collaborative, client-centered, and skills-based approach to therapy, often integrating Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and other evidence-based strategies to support emotional regulation, healthy coping, and sustainable change. Clients can expect a supportive, direct, and nonjudgmental space where therapy is practical, goal-oriented, and tailored to their unique needs.

 

Outside of work, Payton enjoys fitness, spending time outdoors, watching sports, gaming, traveling, and exploring new food and restaurants, and he values helping clients create balance and fulfillment both inside and outside the therapy room.
